Despacito by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee:a cover by Rikki La Rouge
A pop Cumbia version

have here in this cover is a Cumbia cover I did of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee‘s song Despacito. It just sounds really good as a a Cumbia, the kind of Cumbia that Selena and Selena y Los Dinos used to do.
I am quite happy with the way this Cumbia came out. At the time I recorded it. This was like a big song so I felt like doing a Cumbia version of it. Cumbia has happen to be one of my favorite genre. I mean, Latin music and music in general I love, but I just thought that a Cumbia would be fitting to Mike version of Despacito by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee.
Everything about this track was on the money from the basline to the rhythm. I used everything and not only am I the one that the cover version that is and produced it, and did this song and recorded it using my recording equipment that I had I am very proud of this song like I’m proud I am and I am proud of all my work to be quite honest with you so I’m glad that vocal media allows us to Post links and what not.
When you’re recording a song, it takes a lot of time because you always wanted to come out right that’s the way it is with this and every other thing I’ve ever recorded to. I am fortunate that the stuff I recorded came out really well too.
I chose this song to cover because I liked it and because it was relevant to the times. Also, the guitar you hear on is me playing guitar because I had learned the basics of guitar and I knew enough to play what I played and I play keyboard and what not so a lot of the instruments you hear on that track like so many others of my songs are me and producing it it’s it’s a one-man job. It’s just like the Willy Chirino album one man alone that’s me too one man alone.
I’m glad I have someplace that I can truly showcase all of my musical works like on vocal media and such and that’s about it. You may be wondering what my musical credentials are. I’m a singer, songwriter, producer, publisher, composer, ranger, and so many more things, but those are the main things also.
I like the song lyrics to this song. I even got to the where I did the lines to this song which if you don’t know me, you gotta understand something. I’ve been in the genre of rap so you what I’m doing when it comes to music and rap in general so there it is. If do music or anything else in your life, you have to know what you’re doing and that’s what I do.
In truth, I am very happy with the way that Despacito came out. I did not come out as good but miracles happen. I had a place like vocal media when I could showcase everything I’ve done. I only showcase this stuff on YouTube and on SoundCloud without any explanation just the song itself so no one knew exactly what I was talking about until now I can add explanations to the songs that you hear .
Music is a gift and if you’re lucky enough to have some talent, if you’re lucky enough to have the gift of music in any way, size shape or form consider yourself fortunate. Thank you so much for listening and reading this article about this cover song that I did I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did creating the song and how happy I am with the way it came out thank you .
