Don Pasquale, your latest single Canta la gioia brings a lot of energy and emotion. Can you tell us what inspired this song?

Hi, the song is the result of an inspiration caught on the fly and immediately put into practice... it is a simple piece of music but at the same time joyful and effective.

The track combines elements of gospel, pop, and indie. How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

The sound of the song is spontaneous and is usually present in almost all of my unplugged songs; it is my style that I hope can serve the cause of evangelization and above all can please listeners.

Canta la gioia means "Sing the Joy." How does this theme of joy translate into the music and lyrics of the song?

Simply live your life with the joy that comes from the Lord and that should not be confused with happiness; joy is something deeper and more lasting.

You’ve worked in several genres—gospel, pop, and indie. How do you blend these styles together while still maintaining a cohesive sound?

I think it's a natural gift: I've always loved this style or rhythm and I've always tried to find a meeting point and make a synthesis.

What was the creative process like behind Canta la gioia? Was it different from your previous work?

In itself, the composition wasn't that different from many of my other songs; let's say that Canta la gioia is a bit more allegretto.

Gospel music often carries a strong message of faith and hope. How do those themes play into Canta la gioia and your music in general?

In each of my musical pieces there is always a reference to hope and faith, important virtues to be nurtured with commitment and perseverance, because they support us on the path of life: I think these virtues influence my musical pieces a lot precisely because they are necessary for a life lived in serenity.

Can you walk us through a memorable moment from the production of Canta la gioia? Any surprises along the way?

Actually no surprise because I like to have full control of the composition even if I am open to new inspirations.

How do you connect with your audience through your music? What kind of emotions or messages do you hope they take away from Canta la gioia?

The main message is precisely the joy of living and then I hope that the audience and listeners can find, through the song, a reason not to be discouraged in life and persevere in doing good.

Your music has a unique energy. How do you maintain that balance between spirituality and entertainment in your songwriting?

It's not difficult... the important thing is not to lose sight of the goal... That of evangelizing also through my songs.

As an artist who blends genres, do you find that your audience is diverse? How do you see your music resonating with different groups of listeners?

I think it's fine because the listeners can be many and lovers of various musical genres, so I always try to please everyone...

What's the most rewarding part of sharing your music with the world, especially with a song like Canta la gioia?

The most rewarding part is already the fact of having composed and published the song; it's a nice challenge with myself and then also the fact of having given my personal contribution to the cause of evangelization.

What can fans expect next from you? Are there any new projects or upcoming performances you're excited about?

Of course there will be new music in the works and it is obvious that I am grateful to all my listeners because they help me to share important values ​​through my songs. Thanks to all of you who give me the opportunity to communicate important messages through music.
