Check this out. This playlist for a Halloween bash, is a lot of grunge metal because grunge metal is hard hitting and it rocks!!! Not to mention the fact that it’s pretty spectacularly and notoriously dark. I have also included a few of the more notoriously controversial rappers in this one of a kind pump your brakes off playlist.

Acid Bath

Acid Bath is a brilliant melodious spell binding and hard hitting grunge band from the swamps of Louisiana. The music has its own unique and powerful stamp of darkness and rock. It’s one of a kind rhythm and haunting melodie in combination with the chilling lyrics will leave one immersed, in awe, and rocked to the core.

This is one band on this list I haven’t seen live. Boo for me.!!!

Rammstein

This band is universally one of the best. This was in the top two best shows I have ever seen. Unbelievable. Unbelievable energy, unbelievable showmanship. Oh, and they are definitively some of the hardest rockers. The videos are masterpieces of genius, energy, and if you would, terror. On stage they walked out, literally on fire. It was a controlled burn, of course.

Drowning Pool

This song rocked a generation, and decades later still has capacity to animate.

TOOL

As anyone that knows me knows, this is my favorite band, it would be a dream of mine to see them a third time.

Tool is unsurpassed, in creative genius, in societal relevance and in just straight raw beauty of melody. Unequivocal.

To me one aspect of TOOL ‘s relevance is that it’s a direct approach to societal negatives with the strength to both address and expel toxic energies.

System of a Down

System of a Down has one of the most beautifully haunting and timely tones we could witness. The lead singer studied opera, and the result is sheer, raw, power. It is a display of perpetual beauty. It is an all sensory perfection in harmony with time.

Marilyn Manson

The Cranberries

Delores has by far one of the best voices, ever to hit a stage. I am and ever will ever be in love.

If you have never rocked out to this song, you have never lived.

Korn

This band formed a generation.

This album is the best, but all five are superb works of craftsmanship and social relevance. I mourn that I only saw them once. One cannot surpass the experience of a live show.

Rob Zombie

NIN

The nineties were a time for a waking awareness. There were no more secrets and the capacity for human freedom was fully formed.

Disturbed

This band was a side show, the first time that we had ever heard of them.

This song rocks.

Give it a listen.

It is an excellent dance song.

Static X

If this song doesn’t get you up, nothing will.

Powerman 5000

Pantera

For Whom the Bell Tolls

Lil Wayne

Eminem

Lil Wayne, he goes by Weezy.

Coal Chamber

I believe that the songs on this playlist speak for themselves. So that being said, I hope you enjoy the playlist.
