All About ThroneRoom’s Worship Event, “Saints”.
A Celebration of Hope, Home, and Heaven—Livestreamed From Makurdi, Felt Across the World.
Even though I was far away in the UK, I felt like I was right there in Makurdi, Nigeria this afternoon, as I livestreamed ThroneRoom’s worship event, “Saints,” held at the Good News Chapel in Benue State University. The university, located in the heart of Benue State, was the perfect backdrop for what turned out to be a deeply moving, spirit-filled celebration of Easter, community, and Jesus.
ThroneRoom is the Christian music ministry led by my elder brother and his wife. I’ve written about them before HERE and HERE, and I’ll keep writing about them, because what they are doing is worth celebrating. They’ve built something that brings people together in worship and hope—something that keeps growing in depth and reach.
Today’s event, themed “Saints,” was a beautiful reminder that you don’t need a massive stage or a global spotlight to make a difference in the Kingdom of God. It’s about faithfulness. It’s about using your voice, your gifts, and your community to shine light—and that’s exactly what they did.

The worship was rich and heartfelt. Every song felt intentional and full of meaning. The sound was clear and full—done with excellence, not just technically, but spiritually. The music created space for people to really connect with God, and even watching online, I could feel it.
The guest performances added so much beauty. Reverend Rinji Kwashi and his worship team brought deep reverence and joy. Paul Amuta’s voice carried such warmth and strength. And the violinist—what a standout moment. The way they played was both skillful and moving. The sound of that violin added something tender and special to the atmosphere.
But what stayed with me the most was the sense of family and connection. Seeing my family there—familiar faces in the crowd—brought back so many memories. Friends from both Jos and Makurdi were present, and it really hit me how these two places have shaped who we are. These are the towns we grew up in, the churches we sang in, the communities we’ve loved and been loved by.
It felt like past and present came together in one big moment of worship. Old friends who I used to sing with were there, and now I was seeing young people rising up with their own gifts, ready to take it forward. That kind of legacy is so special.
Even from far away, I felt connected. I smiled a lot. I sang along. I even teared up at a few points, especially watching my brother and his wife lead something so meaningful and full of heart. I know the work and prayer and time that goes into this, and I’m so proud of them—for their obedience, their creativity, and their commitment to this vision.
ThroneRoom, you’ve built something beautiful. “Saints” wasn’t just an event. It was a reminder—to all of us—that worship is about people. About love. About showing up and offering what we have. And about God meeting us there, in the middle of it all.
To my brother, his wife, and every single person who helped bring "Saints" to life—thank you. You created something that brought people closer to each other and closer to God. You reminded us that small things done in love have big, eternal impact.
If you missed the livestream, I hope you get to watch the replay. And if you haven’t listened to ThroneRoom yet, please do. What they’re doing is special—and it’s only just beginning.
Stay Connected.
