A$AP Rocky Previews New Song "Punk Rocky" And It's Dropping Sooner Than You Think
A$AP Rocky is almost here with his highly anticipated new album "Don't Be Dumb," which is set to come out on January 16.

A$AP Rocky has rocketed to the top of the Earth. He beat the case, has the “most beautiful girl in the world,” who gave him his children.
His much anticipated album Don’t Be Dumb is slated for a January 16 release. In the meantime, the Harlem wordsmith is poised to direct his attention at promoting this project. Heavily.
His assertive nature to push this song list speaks to the young man’s ability to be provocative and on the edge of innovation.
Even Winona Ryder has a starring role in the video to the song, “Punk Rocky.”
This heralds a return for the visionary who has a theme going on with Tim Burton’s art work, and the aforementioned Ryder being one of the director’s muses.
The form of themes have percolated through the rapper’s works. Luxury hip hop, super fashion, the glorification of money, and the next level imagination injected into his body of work shows a simplicity and a sophistication.
Rocky has produced a career that leaves a bit of mystique and has the ability to describe all of his intentions to become even better. From “Peso” to now, “The Pretty MF” has dropped only quality efforts.

His mind has dropped so many wondrous bits that it is only right that he continues to build upon his illustrious career. Somewhat like his partner, Rihanna, who has not announced any new music in nearly a decade, the anticipation for Dumb feels palpable.
Given no thought on the idea of faltering, Rocky keeps charging forward with radio friendly hits and deep cuts, he steams through the ruckus of rap.
When he talks about his family, or his music, or his placement in history, it’s like Flacko just shows his coolness and enthusiasm all at the same time. His ability to mount the want for his project completes the circle for him to be on the frontline for real rap.
The 15 tracks will illustrate a painting of sounds from blues to jazz to punk rock to hip hop. For him to keep on with the notion that his LP will be a representation of his mind’s machinations brought into the world.
News had revealed that he would pay the rent for tenants in Uptown Manhattan. While this has been misconstrued as altruism, this is in fact selfishness in its best way. It’s not only that he made it publicly known but that he valued these individuals so much that he didn’t find it to be a sacrifice to chip off a few dollars to help out people who deserve it.
The way that Rocky can make headlines and then retreat into a pocket of relative obscurity makes him one of the few hip hop stars who can achieve such feats. The work is what truly stands out among all these different acts such as his role in the Spike Lee Joint and Highest to Lowest (2025).
As A$AP Rocky runs his own placement in hip hop, he fuels up with the passion of the microphone and speeds his way around the track with precision focus.

Along with friend Tyler the Creator, he has transformed the way the sonic landscape encapsulates how rappers travel through the ether. The one concept that Rocky has been attached to is the idea of innovation. Just when you think he’ll give everyone Jean Michel Basquiat’s “Sam O” he steps back, reverses course and paints a portrait of explosive color and ingenuity.
Rocky may not be considered in the top three rappers in the game, he may not even care about that. He’s just making his art the way he wants to do so.
