5 Tips to get your first 1,000 Instagram Followers

If you’re reading this, I’m going to assume that you want to get your first 1,000 Instagram followers. I know, it’s not much, but as the saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day (or something like that). And getting there isn’t always easy. Getting to 1k followers on Instagram does take some time and effort, but if you follow these 5 tips, you will be well on your way to reaching your goal.

1) Use Relevant Hashtags

Hashtags are a great way to increase the visibility of your content. It's important not just to add any hashtag but to use hashtags that are relevant and popular for the type of content you're posting. Using hashtags will allow you make connections with people who may not have otherwise found you. Check out what other people in your industry are using and try out some new ones! Don't be afraid to experiment because if it doesn't work you can delete it. Use Emojis: Emojis are another fun way to engage your audience and can also help convey feelings or tone on posts. If you don't know how to use them they can seem random so it's important to play around with different types until find something that fits well with what you're trying say or feels natural. Create Consistent Content: Creating consistent content is a good way to create an identity for yourself on Instagram.

2) Find and Use Popular Hashtags

The best way to gain more followers on Instagram is by using hashtags. This will help people who are interested in the content that you post come across your account and follow you. When coming up with hashtags, be sure that they are relevant to the type of content that you post. For example, if you are posting workout related posts then use #fitfam or #fitspo as a hashtag. If you want to grow an online business then use #marketing or #entrepreneur. Use Hashtags Wisely: Don’t just throw any old hashtag onto a photo and expect it to work wonders for your account. Be strategic about what tags you use and how often you post them so that they don’t lose their effectiveness. Avoid the Mistake of Oversaturating Your Content: Remember, overdoing it on Instagram can have negative consequences such as lost followers so don’t go crazy with posting all day every day without time for anything else! Build A Relationship With Your Followers: As with any other social media platform, relationship building is key when it comes to growing your following on Instagram.

3) Use Location Hashtags

It's important that you find a way to differentiate yourself from the rest of the pack on Instagram. You can do this by using relevant and specific hashtags that are associated with your niche or city. For example, if you sell vegan food in Los Angeles then use #vegan or #vegansofla when posting. This will help people who are interested in these things see your posts and follow you. Don't spam: When you post too many photos in one day, it gets annoying for followers to scroll through all of them. So space out your posts! Create an Editorial Calendar: One great thing about Instagram is that it is quick and easy to create content. That said, it's important not to create too much content at once because it gets overwhelming for followers as well as those who follow you because they're not likely going to go back far enough into your feed to see what you posted 3 hours ago.

4) Post High-Quality Photos

It's no secret that great photos are important for growing on insta. The truth is that you need at least a few good photos to make people want to follow you and then engage with your account. Don't take this task lightly; invest in the best camera you can afford. If there isn't an expensive camera store near you, check out Adorama or B&H Photo which have quality photography equipment without the hefty price tag.

If taking pictures sounds like too much work, consider using a professional photographer to capture these moments as well as edit them for you!

If hiring a pro sounds like too much money upfront, try following these tips: find creative angles of your life (to shoot from), include props in some shots (to jazz up the scene), take up to 50 photos of one subject before posting just one photo on social media and make sure all angles are included in the photo before publishing it to social media.

5) Engage With Other Users

Engaging with other users on Instagram is a great way to build a following. Remember to be genuine and have fun with it! It doesn't take much time or effort and it's a great way to connect with new people. If you want to engage with others but aren't sure how, follow these five easy steps:

- Comment on pictures that you like.

- Like photos from other accounts in the same niche as yours

- Tag your friends in posts that are relevant to their interests

- Respond to comments made by others

- Encourage followers by giving shout outs to their posts. You can also give them a like so they know that you're thinking about them and sharing their post with your own followers.

- When browsing for new content to share, click on hashtags related to your field of interest. You'll find popular topics which could lead you to discovering something amazing!

- Consider using Promote Your Post service (that offers likes) to help grow your account quickly if there's not enough time or budget for running paid campaigns
