Knowledge of the nineteenth century allowed him to know exactly how to use the greasy goop. Like a real oil tycoon, he established a city and collected enough people to run it. Fully immersive, he could envision an entire empire based on his own research. Townsfolk scurried about and ran a courthouse, general store, a shoeshine kit, a hotel, some homes, and a jail among other locales.
