Pilot, the Pilot
For my pitch, I would like to do a TV show about...pilots. I had better be clear about this one. I do not mean that I want to do a sequel to 'Wings' (although I was a fan of the show and always wondered where they would head next). I mean a TV show where every episode is a pilot for a new project.

An Ally on an Island
When he saw the tail of the jet sink into the ocean, he knew that he would have to settle on the island for a while. The weather was still rough, but he was able to guide the parachute towards the breakers on the shore that already had some of the wreckage. With a quick flip, he fell forward onto the sand, detaching the parachute before the wind pulled him into the ocean. It caught on the rock that kept a wave off of him, flapping in the air as the sky darkened and rain pelted his uniform. Well, that was an interesting end to the day, he thought, staring up at the cloud-thick sky and letting sleep take over. No tides at night, no tides at night, no tides…

The Plan
Make notes about the number of staff in and out of the building at all times. Organize a team of experts in safe-cracking and weapon use. Make sure not to involve that idiot Brian who thinks he's God's gift to crime whenever he gets drunk and starts bragging. Pick a day when all factors seem to be in your favour and make sure you do have a proper getaway vehicle (at least two of them must be available). Ignore the advice you receive from Brian about what types of vehicles you should use...like his. Point out to the team that Brian still drives the same car he had in high school and that he never had to pay for it. Use Brian's vehicle without telling him what your plans are. Remember that it is a holiday weekend and that no one is going to be in the building. Remember that Brian is also on holiday because he works there and knows the place inside and out. Bring Brian along to give you some general information. Decide that the weekend is too long and that you can wait for another date. Ignore Brian's and the team's offer to join them.

An Audio Story
I wonder about the power of music, and I worried about writing this story. And is it a story? Am I giving you a real narrative? I have had a very hard time with this particular piece, and I had to write down all of my material in freehand before I could even think about typing this out. And I needed a particular set of rules:
