That morning when I awoke, I found I was still encased in Leon’s arms. He was still sleeping soundly, his long waist-length raven-black hair fanned out under him, some of it blending with my own long brown locks. A feeling of warmth rushed through my chest and my gut. Reluctantly, I slipped from his arms without waking him and dressed quietly. Before slipping out of his house, I leaned down and pressed my lips to his cheek.
