The movie previews began and we made popcorn, and as I was melting the butter I heard another cork popping from behind me. Looks like we’re having a second bottle tonight. I bring the popcorn to the coffee table, while Stephanie brings the wine. We sit down together and press play on the movie. As the movie starts we curl up with a pillow full of popcorn between us and a mug of wine in each hand. We take one last look at each other and curl our feet up on the couch before we get lost on scary scenes and cgi effects.
