She-Hulk Review: "The Retreat"
We have finally entered the bottom one-third of She-Hulk, with the previous episode seeing Jen engage in a budding relationship with Josh Miller, who she met while attending the wedding of her childhood friend, which also saw Jen engage in another encounter with Titania. All the while, Nikki learned about the existence of Intelligencia, a sinister faction who targets superhumans, with intent on harming and even killing them, and She-Hulk is no exception.

Yankees Are Beasts of the East. Top Story - September 2022.
On September 27, 2022, the New York Yankees defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-2, to clinch the American League East for the 20th time in franchise history, and the first time since 2019. Divisional play began in 1969, with the American and National Leagues divided into two divisions: East and West (the Central Divisions were formed in 1994). It wasn't until 1976 that the Yankees won the AL East for the first time, but despite that long wait, the Yankees' 20 division titles are the most in the division's history, with the Boston Red Sox being second with 10, which is half of the total of their hated rivals.

NFL Week 3 Recap: The Two 12s
Similar to literally every football fan in existence, I had Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season circled on my (mental) calendar for the very same reason: Packers vs Buccaneers. A battle between a pair of hallowed quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, possibly the final battle of their careers, unless the fates allow them to clash in January. For this Packers fan, it was an opportunity to get off a small schnide against the Brady Bucs, as both meetings went the way of Tampa Bay. The meetings both took place in the 2020 season, with the first one being in Tampa Bay, but the damning one was the NFC Championship at Lambeau--a 31-26 victory by the Bucs.

Reviewing a Pair of Surprise Villainesses from "Francesca Quinn, P.I."
The date is September 25, 2022, I am still beaming over the Green Bay Packers' victory (as ugly as it was) over the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and I complete my day by watching Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' latest film, Francesca Quinn, P.I., which stars Mallory Jensen in the title role. I remember learning about this film and beaming, because HM&M had been lacking on the mystery end lately. This was their first mystery film in five months, and their usual film series have been MIA. Another thing I couldn't help but notice was the casting; it was quite refreshing for me to see Mallory Jensen in a heroic role--in the few times I've seen her, she's played her share of evil roles on shows such as Galavant and Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.

MLB Pennant Race 2022: The Final 10 Days
We are down to the final 10 days of the 2022 MLB season, and so much is left to be decided. The past week saw quite a few developments in the pennant races, as well as a historic moment involving a future first-ballot Hall of Famer. Let's get to that first:

CFL Week 16 Recap: A Successful Playoff Push
Week 16 is the last three-game week of the 2022 CFL season, but so much was up for grabs. Entering this week, only the Winnipeg Blue Bombers had locked in a playoff spot, but they were idle this week after suffering their second loss of the season. Despite this, they could still lock in a home playoff game with help elsewhere, and this was one of many playoff scenarios for Week 16, which were as follows:

She-Hulk Review: "Just Jen"
I do love that this season (and I say "season" instead of "series" because I think Season Two is inevitable) has nine episodes, because it does seem to operate like a baseball lineup. We were just treated to the "cleanup" episodes centering on Titania's attempt to sue over the She-Hulk name, and failing badly. So what do we get in the last leg of the heart of the order? A wedding...as well as a divorce, because, of course, these things have to go together.

Reviewing Saraya's AEW Debut
All Elite Wrestling had their highly promoted Grand Slam edition of Dynamite; seriously, I love these special Dynamite episodes. It's basically a pay-per-view for free, similar to WWE's special episodes of NXT. These episodes often have loaded cards, a big fight feel, and most of all, huge surprises. Grand Slam was no different, and the surprise came after the end of one of its premiere matches: the four-way match for the Interim AEW Women's World Championship.

NFL Week 2 Recap: Guess Who's Leading the AFC South?!
The Jacksonville Jaguars are in first place in the AFC South. I want to say it again, because it bears repeating, plus it's something to really drink in. The Jacksonville Jaguars are in first place in the AFC South. This improbable moment began to take shape when the Jags faced the rival Indianapolis Colts; the first of their perennial pair of meetings this season, as well as their first meeting since the final week of the 2021 season. We all remember that finale, where the Jags served as the ultimate spoilers to Indy's playoff plans. All Indy needed was a win to get into the playoffs, but the lowly, lowly Jags blasted them and ended the Colts' season.

MLB Pennant Race 2022: Best in the West
The MLB regular season is going down to the wire, with 17 days remaining. Even with so little time left, there is still a lot to be decided; such is the effect of the expanded postseason format. A few things did get locked in during the past week, while some teams could be on the rise in certain postseason races. The developments are as follows:

Villainess Review: Dr. Susan Langdon (Quantico)
This weekend, Lifetime aired the emotionally charged thriller, Girl in Room 13, which starred the late Anne Heche. The film, as I expected, was amazing and very gripping, and a huge part of that was due to Heche's performance. Anne Heche tragically passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 53, and what I will not do is talk about how she passed, as it had drawn too much negativity and scorn towards a person we should be mourning. Heche's career was immensely stellar; among some of the films she starred in was the 1998 reboot of Psycho (opposite Vince Vaughn as Norman Bates), as well as the film, Six Days, Seven Nights. Regarding TV, Heche appeared on many shows, with my memory still retaining watching her on the short-lived HBO series, Hung. Heche also recurred on All Rise as the contemptible lawyer, Corrine Cuthbert, with her final appearance being in the third-season opener, "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'."
