In this case, it is wrestling, and it's the latest episode of NXT. Coming off their Halloween Havoc event, October 28's NXT was main evented by a contest for TNA's Knockouts World Championship between champion Kelani Jordan and challenger Jordynne Grace.

World Series Game Five: Just Say Yes-avage
In Game Four, the Toronto Blue Jays manage to rise above the fatigue from the 18 inning thriller that they played a day prior. The Jays managed to defeat the Dodgers 6-2 to even up the World Series at two games each. Now, the Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers were participating in a pivotal Game Five that will determine who will head to Canada with a chance to win the whole thing.

NFL Week 8 Recap: That's My Quarterback
In the final days leading to the evening of October 26, 2025, I was expected to get my tissues ready. This was going to be an emotional one. Any time the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers get together, it's always amazing. This one was different, though. It was Aaron Rodgers playing against the team he QB'ed for so so long. The team he won the MVPs with, won Super Bowl 45 with, and won a SB MVP with. We Packers fans had a lot of good memories of him under center, and this one was expected to be very weepy while watching this.

World Series Game Four: Nine is Enough
The baseball world is still buzzing over that 18-inning masterpiece that ended at 10 minutes until midnight in the Pacific Time Zone. It was a stunning affair that saw nearly 20 pitchers used, over 600 pitches thrown, and so many close calls prior to that Freddie Freeman walk-off. Many fans wondered what these two teams would do for an encore, but games like that are very rare.

Reviewing "9-1-1: Nashville" Following Their Series-Opening Arc
I have really enjoyed the 9-1-1 franchise for nearly a decade now, and of course, I got into this because I've been a Ryan Murphy fan ever since Nip/Tuck. It's hard to believe that the original series is in its ninth season, having premiered during the heart of the 2017-18 TV season; originally on Fox before making the move to ABC during Season Seven. The original series takes place in Los Angeles, while the first spinoff, 9-1-1: Lone Star, took place in Texas, and just recently ended its run.

Boston Fight Party
Hard to believe that the month of October is slowly ending, but even so, it'll still be early in the NHL season. The upcoming month of November is only important when it comes to American Thanksgiving, as teams who are above the playoff line by then usually stay up there and end up in the NHL's Sweet 16 by the time the season ends in April. But that's November. The focus is on the last Saturday in October, and the Colorado Avalanche were in Beantown facing the Boston Bruins.

World Series Game Two: The Stuff of Legends
In Game One, the Toronto Blue Jays absolutely flattened the Los Angeles Dodgers' bullpen in that sixth inning. Out of the nine runs scored in that inning by Toronto, six of them were charged to the bullpen, which has been a sore subject to Dodgers fans all year. For the Dodgers, the mission for Game Two was simple: make sure the bullpen never takes the mound at all.

World Series Game One: Maple Leaf Muscle
I always love how each network that airs the championship round handles their coverage. In the case of the World Series, it's been a Fox staple for 26 straight seasons now, and the pregame often takes place live at the two destinations. In this case, the crew at Fox was in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for Game One, and it was amazing seeing the players make their entrance. Game One of a championship series, whether it's the NBA Finals, the Stanley Cup Final, or the World Series, is always special.

Adams Division Values
Your eyes are not deceiving you, those jerseys are legit. It was announced prior to the start of the season that the Colorado Avalanche would don the throwback Quebec Nordiques jerseys during a number of select games, and this game was the first of the seven that would see these jerseys return. Even better, the Avs were at home facing the Carolina Hurricanes, and the Canes decided to don the old Hartford Whalers jerseys.

2025 World Series Preview
We have arrived, folks. After seven months, and so many games, we are down to just two teams. The 121st edition of the World Series in this modern era is all set, and it will feature the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers going at it. Because the Dodgers are the defending champions, this is a champions vs challengers situation here. In addition, for the second straight year, the Fall Classic will feature two of the continent's largest markets going at it, so this should be a hell of a Series here.

With a lot of the focus on the NFL, the League Championship Series, and even the NBA's return, I've been behind on the Colorado Avalanche recaps. Three games have passed, and with that, this recap is a special three-in-one deal. Fittingly, as an homage to The Simpsons' "Treehouse of Horror" (which aired its 36th edition this past Sunday), this is the "Treehouse of Avalanche."
