Our morning has been spent working, figuring out a way to stop Dhalia's stepfather from ever using her again. Carl is dead, regardless of what happens.

It would be easier if we didn't need to kill her stepdad as well, but something tells me he's just as bad as Carl. I've kept my mind focused on the here and now. I am not giving myself a chance to get carried away like I typically would.

Stepping into the room, Blake and Chase follow me. Mr Hurst looks at me and smirks.

"Here I was thinking you had given up on me," he laughs, and I don't respond. I walk in, pick up the dagger, and face him. "Wait, at least tell me what I've done to earn such wonderful hospitality." He chuckles.

Moving, I plunge the dagger into his shoulder; he screams and glares at me. "For using her," I growl and pull the dagger out again.

His head tilts, and he looks at me, confused.

"You will survive this, Mr Hurst, but fifty per cent of your businesses will be gone," Chase explains from behind me as I swing the dagger forward into his other shoulder.

He screams and thrashes. "What woman?" He glares at me.

"Tell me what you know about Carl." I sit, and he laughs.

"Oh fuck." He laughs more and looks at us, amused. "You're hurt that I paid to fuck a bitch?"

I cringe but don't react. He needs to answer questions, so I can't kill him. "Carl, what do you know?" I wait, and he sighs.

"That he has a beautiful girlfriend he wants to marry. He wanted to get rid of Dhalia and said he had a plan to do so. He thought selling her would make Wayne call off the wedding, but her stepdad really didn't give a shit."

"Where's the stuff?" Chase asks from behind me.

"Like I know. You're asking me questions that I've no idea about. The only time I came close to Carl was for his family's business agreements or when I paid to fuck her." He shrugs, and I sigh. We need someone closer to Carl. Surely he has a best friend, or someone we can grab who knows?

"You have her, right?" He looks at me, and I shrug. "Oh, you do; you see, a woman like Dhalia is hard to resist. Why do you think so many bought her for the hour? Even after she became a fat bitch."

I lunge at him, the dagger stabbing through his stomach. Chase and Blake drag me back, and he laughs.

I fight against their grip to get back to him.

"Calm down, Jax. Look at me." Chase shouts, but I ignore him and stay focused on Mr Hurst.

"You realise we paid in advance, right? I've got at least ten sessions to claim from her, and I guarantee that once she walks out of here, even if Carl is dead, I'll be claiming what I paid for."

My body fights to get to him, and he continues to laugh.

"You know what's even more amazing than fucking her? Humiliating her, she looks so damn sweet when she cries. I can still hear now, begging for me to stop, pleading for someone to save her. The look of shame in her eyes as everyone watched and laughed was fucking exquisite."

I see red. Somehow, I break out of Blake and Chase's hold and lunge at him. Screaming, I hit him and kept going, over and over, until I was sure the words he said were drowned out of my mind.

My body shakes, and I scream at him as someone drags me back. I feel my hands become pinned down as I fight to get free. Someone's hands grip my face, but I don't see who. I just continue to fight to free myself.

The slap across my face breaks me out of it, and I stare at Chase as he stands before me.

"Shit, I let him get free." I look at his bloodied lip and see Blake standing with his nose bleeding.

"No, you fucking hit us!" Chase screams in my face. I don't remember that. I pull against the restraints in the wall. "We're not releasing you until we know you're calm and back to normal." He glares at me, and I nod.

"What he said." I don't like it; I don't even know what he did to her, but whatever it was sounded bad.

"I know, it's fucked up, which is the only reason I am not beating your fucking ass for hitting Blake!" Chase growls at me.

My head turns to see Mr Hurst, and I grunt as Chase grips my hair and pulls my head back to face him.

"Don't bother. If you look at him, you will go right back to where you were. He's dead, so don't even think about him right now," Chase glares at me.

I'm in trouble; I don't even know what happened. I just know his words got to me. I don't know what he did to her, but it wasn't good.

"He will be fine, move." Blake pushes Chase out of the way and looks at me. "We won't shout; we won't complain that you killed him. What he was saying was fucked up. But if you lose it this much with him, someone down the list, how bad are you going to be with those at the top?"

I don't even know. "Anyone else you're bringing in today, I'll stay out of," I whisper, and they both stare at me, shocked. I fucking hit them; I've never hit them before. No matter how much I lost it, I've never hurt them before.

"Okay, can I unfasten your arms now and you not look at Mr Hurst or go searching for the next person?" Blake waits, and I nod.

"I'm sorry, baby; I didn't mean to hit you. I can't even remember doing it." I messed up.

"It's fine," Blake shrugs, and my eyes drop, and I see the blood on his shoulder.

"Fuck." I stabbed him. I fucking stabbed him.

"Calm down, Jax. You're going to go blind again." He grips my face.

"I fucking stabbed you!" I stabbed him. What the fuck have I done?

"It's nothing, don't worry about it. Go wait in the office." He smiles at me as he releases my arms.

"I'm going home; you will be safer then," I turn and walk out, hearing him telling me to stop. I shouldn't have hurt him. Getting to the garages, I climb on the bike and ride home, hating myself for hurting them.

When I get back, I walk in, the door slamming behind me. I stop when I see Dhalia and Keeley. I forgot they were here. "You should go home," I look at Keeley and open the door. I look at the guards. "Two of you need to take Keeley home, make sure no one sees her getting out of our car." I step back and wait.

Keeley looks from Dhalia to me. Dhalia nods at her and smiles. Sighing, Keeley stands. She walks towards me, stops briefly to look at my hands, and then walks out. I slam the door closed and walk through to my room.

Screaming, I punch the wall before falling to my knees. What will happen next time? What if I actually fucking kill them? I stare at the blood on my hands.

I feel her hand settle on my shoulder before she speaks. "Are you okay?" She walks around me and stands in front of me. I don't reply; I stare at the blood and wonder which part of it is Blake's some of it is.

She moves to kneel in front of me, her hands grasping my face. It feels wrong like she is burning me, I pull away, but she holds onto me tighter.

"Don't touch me," I growled as I pulled back again, but she didn't release me. The burning intensifies, and I glare at her. "You should run."
