I wasn't sure what was said. When I reached the door and was about to knock and make her aware that food was ready, I heard her words: talking about losing weight.

That threw me. She comes across as so confident. The dress she wore that night we took her was daring and revealing, and she wore it with pride and confidence.

Yet, how she said those words was like all that confidence was gone.

Keeley sits with her head down like a scolded kitten after her slip-up. Dhalia is staring at her plate and close to having a panic attack, worried we'll ask.

We can't. Sure, I want to know the facts, but pushing her into talking won't help her if she isn't ready to accept what happened and unload the feelings as well.

I can see Jax is itching to ask her what happened, and Blake is itching to comfort her, which will make this whole thing worse. So, as much as I want to know, I push my feelings aside.

"So you two knew each other as kids then?" I look at Keeley, and she smiles at me, clearly relieved to have someone change the conversation.

"We did, went to school together and everything. She was my rock throughout everything. She was the first person I trusted enough to tell I was into women. The one I told after my first kiss with a girl, everything."

She speaks of Dhalia like I talk of Blake and Jax—like nothing can separate them or break that bond. I now wonder if they have ever gone further than friends.

"I can tell, and no, we haven't fucked or even tried to. We're like sisters." Keeley's words have Dhalia choke on her food. Jax thumps her hard on the back, and we all laugh.

The previous conversation seems to have disappeared from their minds—or maybe not? It's just masked, and we will talk about it later when Dhalia isn't sitting with us.

I listen as they talk about growing up. Keeley explains how she began giving Dhalia money after her stepdad made her jobless and homeless. Only Dhalia's stepdad was quick to start destroying Keeley's life as well.

It turns out that Dhalia's agreement to marry Carl wasn't to save herself; it was for Keeley. There was no way Keeley was standing by and not helping, so even after Dhalia's stepdad had her fired, she got another job and helped pay for Dhalia.

I don't think Keeley has realised that yet. In a way, she saved Dhalia, as would she still be fighting against her stepdad to be able to live if she didn't agree to save Keeley?

After eating, Dhalia and Keeley walk away. I turn to look at Jax and Blake.

"Not yet. Let's get ready and leave. Make sure everything around the club is secure, and no one is there who shouldn't be." Jax stands as he speaks.

Is he joking? "We need to talk about what was said." I'm not happy to ignore it.

"Later, Chase. We've got the entire night to discuss it and work it out. Let's get ready and leave, please," he walks off, and I give up. For now, I do anyway.

I ensure the car is ready and security is outside. The more security, the less chance there is of anyone seeing Dhalia.

There are always cameras outside waiting to take pictures of us, so again, the more security there is, the less likely she will be seen.

After showering and getting dressed, I began to make calls. The VIP section will be cleared out of us, which means we can see her regardless of where she is in the club.

I didn't want to agree to go out, especially not taking Dhalia with us, but I was outnumbered. Jax was also correct; it was wrong to keep her locked up. She deserves to go out and for more than shopping.

Walking out, I pause when I see her. I swear down she is giving me whiplash with her changes. She is standing with Jax and looks so fucking confident right now in that dress. Her entire body may as well be on show.

The dress is short, showing her thighs. The top of it is perfect; it covers the centre of her breasts, and that's it.

"I swear, if you looking at her like that doesn't make her realise how God damn hot she is, she's a lost cause." Keeley stops beside me and grins.

Shit. I was caught staring. Dhalia isn't a lost cause. The fact she is wearing that dress proves that somewhere inside her, even if it is deep down, she knows she's stunning. I should apologise to her and talk to her about what happened earlier.

I mean, I told her not to lose weight, and that isn't my choice. She's perfect as she is, at least in my eyes. Still, I should make her aware it's her choice, but only if she isn't letting shit cloud her judgement.

"We're waiting. Are you going to stand and stare at her all night?" Blake laughs, and I look around now to see Keeley beside them. I zoned out. I got too into my thoughts and mind to even realise.

Dhalia and Keeley are holding masks. Some people wear them in the club because it's exclusive and high-end, and they like to keep their identities hidden.

Walking over, I don't speak. I followed them into the car and waited for the moment we could speak about what was said. Not just today while we were eating, but what Blake said as well. I'm not sure he read her body language right to believe she is up for us all to fuck her.

The car stops, and I look at her. She's worried. "Place the mask on Princess."

Her head shakes. "You say it's safe, but how do you know someone in there won't see me, know Carl or my stepdad, and speak?"

Sighing, I lean closer to her. Taking the mask, I place it over her eyes. "Because people know we own the place, people know what happens behind those doors stays there. So even if you were naked, dancing in the middle of the room, screaming fuck Carl, no one would say. I promise."

Leaning back, I wait. Sighing, she nods, and I smile. Getting out, the security surrounds us just like I asked. It means she's hidden from the cameras. Sure, it makes people more curious about why we're hiding, but they won't get in.

I guide her inside and straight up to the VIP part; she relaxes once we sit. Moving, I unwrap the mask from her head and place it down. She looks around the room nervously.

Gripping her chin, my fingers push into her skin, and I force her to face. "I trusted you, Dhalia. I trusted that you didn't lie about your father being your stepfather or about him not willingly paying to get you back. I trusted you with our biggest secret and that you knew Keeley enough to know she wouldn't speak. So please trust me when I say no one will know you're here."

She looks around us again and slowly nods. "Okay."

Smiling at her, I hand her the glass and then one to Keeley. They sit talking, clearly catching up. Dhalia, though, refuses to leave this area.

"Princess, it's safe. Go dance. Go to the bar if you want something to drink; they know how to give you anything." Smiling at her, I watch as Keeley stands and drags her off. That works as well.

Jax sits laughing. "It was a good choice to let Keeley come." He leans back, and I watch as she dances.

"Can we now find out what happened with Carl?" Jax looks at us.

"There are only two ways of finding out: Carl telling us or her. I would rather she told us." I don't want to go behind her back and get information on her.

Jax glares at me. "I want to know Chase. If he's hurt her, I want to know."

I can't deal with his bullshit tonight. "Fine, then whenever we should let you tell people about yourself, we won't. We will tell them seen as it isn't important or doesn't make a difference if you want them to know."

Blake slides between us. "Guys, don't fucking argue. Both of you are right, but regardless of everything, it's her choice to tell us."

"Which is my point." That's all I was saying. We know it doesn't take much to understand the words. We know what happened; right now, it's her choice if she speaks. Not ours.

"So what? We wait for her to tell us?" Jax complains and looks at where she is dancing. I reach past Blake and grab Jax's thigh. The table covers us so that no one will see.

Turning, he looks at me. I wait and watch him sigh. "Fine, I will wait for her to tell us."

"Good boy," I wink, and he glares. "Okay, you're not in the mood for that tonight. I get the hint." I squeeze his thigh once more before releasing him. His eyes go back to the dance floor, and he panics.

"Where is she?" He jumps up, and I look around, seeing her by the bar.

"She's safe and getting a drink, Jax." I get it; he thought she had gone. I turn to face Blake. "Explain your conversation with her and why you think she agrees."

Blake nods and takes a drink. "She didn't say no. I may have teased her slightly and well explained how I imagined fucking her while one of you fucked me. She got flustered, her breathing quickened, and she didn't say no. If anything, she grabbed me and pulled me to her."

Jax sits down, relaxing slightly. "So, I agree. I would rather we did it together than me fuck her alone for now."

Turning, I glare at him. "She knows Jax, so speak to her and find out her thoughts on all that. Don't hide from her when you're alone; otherwise, it won't work." He needs to give in to her as well, not just when we're around. He also needs to find out how much she is willing to let happen.

"Fine, but I want a list of names before the game." Jax looks at me, waiting.

"I can't give you the names of those Carl got to use her without getting into her life, which we agreed we wouldn't do until she told us." It's not right, and I won't agree.

"Okay, stop!" Blake looks between us. "What if we can get a list of names without getting information?"

Jax laughs. "How are we meant to do that, Blake? Stop being so fucking stupid."

My eyes widen at him. "I'm usually the cold, heartless asshole, stop."

Jax looks from me to Blake and seems to relent. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that." Jax rubs his face. "I don't do this. I don't sit and not act; if someone I know is hurt, I protect them. I can't if she won't tell us."

Blake leans closer to him, and I watch Jax relax. "You're forgetting Keeley has no filter. She's drunk; likely that filter will be even more non-existent. All we need to do is ask if she knows the guys' names. If she does, we have the names without the information."

Shit. I stare at Blake; that's not a bad idea. We're not looking into her history. We're not looking into what happened. Simply getting names and maybe throwing them in the game as well.

"Okay, we will try tonight. One of us needs to keep her busy while we do." Blake looks at us, and he's not wrong.

"I'll keep her busy. I'll tell her I need more information on her dad when we get back so we can make a plan for keeping her safe from him." She will be fine talking about general things as long as they don't relate to what happened to her.

"Then you keep her busy, get what info you can from her and we will trip Keeley up into giving us names." Jax grins and seems so damn happy right now. None of them are going to live. Something tells me all of them will be dead when he's finished.

I've enjoyed tonight; Keeley is drunk, maybe too drunk, but the guys are happy about it. I've spent most of my time dancing with Keeley.

We should leave soon; she's too far gone right now. Walking to the bar, I ask for a glass of water and hand it to her.

"Are you saying I'm drunk?" She laughs, almost falling off the chair. I see someone catch her and steady her.

"Thanks," I smile at the guy, and he nods.

"Well, it wouldn't look good of me to let your friend fall to the floor before asking if I can buy you a drink, would it?" He smiles and steps around Keeley on the stool until he's between us.

"I'm good, thank you." Smiling, I raise my glass. It's nearly empty, but I don't want him to buy me a drink.

"Is that your last one?" He leans closer and my head shakes.

"Not likely, but I don't need you to pay for my drinks, thank you." I smile and try to look around him to see Keeley.

He leans in, his body getting closer to mine. "Then how about a dance?" His head dips slightly, and I hear him inhale loudly.

That's not happening. I stand up and force his body to move back. "I don't want to dance." I smile politely and go to reach for Keeley, but his hand captures my arm.

"Then how about a fuck, seen as nothing else is enticing you?" His hand grips my ass. Moving, I swing my fist and watch his body fall back. Someone catches him before he hits the floor. Looking up, I see Chase standing with his hand grasping the back of the guy's collar.

"Issue?" Chase smiles at me, I go to tell him no but the guy speaks.

"Yeah, offering herself up, then refusing. Cock tease," the guy spits at me, and Chase tenses. My head shakes at him.

"You can't blame me for you being hard. You teased yourself by telling yourself I would agree to fuck you. That's on you." I didn't tease at all.

"Fuck you," he laughs. "You think it was you that made me hard? No, you were just a random I was willing to fuck to relieve it. You should have got on your knees and thanked me for even considering to fuck your fat ass." He screams in my face. My mouth opens to reply, but I don't get a chance before Chase drags him through a door.

I go to follow, and Keeley stands, stumbling slightly. Grabbing her, I sit her back down.

"You're not allowed to leave me." She glares, and I groan. I see Jax and Blake rush past into the same room Chase disappeared into. Great.

"Can I go to the toilet?" I smile at Keeley.

"If you carry me there!" She grins at me.

Well, that failed. Rolling my eyes, I lifted her from the chair and walked back to the section where the guys were. When I got to the rope, the guy shook his head at me.

"Are you fucking joking? I came in with Jax, Chase and Blake." Now, I can't even put Keeley in that area to escape and find out what is happening.

"Look, your friend is drunk. You should just leave right now," he points towards the door.

"I can't leave; I'm here with Chase, Jax, and Blake." If I leave, they will shout at me—a lot, no doubt.

"Miss, I don't have time to argue with you. Your friend is drunk, they won't serve you anymore. Now get out." He moves and pushes me forward. God, this is going awful; I fight against his grip as he drags me towards the door with Keeley.

"Him!" I point at the guy. "He can confirm I'm with them; he was there when we came in." I wave at the guy, and he walks over to us.

"Ignore her; she's just as drunk as her friend clearly hence I'm escorting them out." He goes to pull me forward, but the guy stops him.

"She's a guest with them. They asked that we watch over them and make sure no one hurts them." The guy pushes him back more before looking at me. "Go back to the VIP area and wait for them."

Nodding, I smile at him and quickly pull Keeley to the area. Putting her on the seat, I lie her down. She's too far gone. Turning, I see the guys arguing still.

Walking back around, I make my way towards the door where they had disappeared. As I push the door open, Blake comes out. His arm wraps around my waist, and he guides me away from the room.

"What is going on?" I ask, looking at him, and he guides me out of the room back to the VIP lounge.
