This right here "They were not meant to find the answer, they were meant to find themselves." Great entry.

I read “Appalachia” and was thrilled!! Neat concept, simply told. 👏🙂

"Water was born from their fear" I love that line! The giants becoming mountains caught me a little off guard, but it fits so perfectly with the story! I love how they're giants of rock and magma, mirroring how the mountains formed of those things thanks to tectonic shifts. This is a truly masterful story! Best of luck in the myth maker challenge :)

Beautifully written! I was also thinking about giants for the myth somehow but yours would be a hard act to follow! It sounds like a true creation myth from a real ancient civilization. Good job!

  • Whoaaaa, this was so creative! Poor giants. I loved your story!

I like how they roam the terrain searching for meaning, and the power of tears brings genesis to things. Compact and hitting the legendary tone in a grand way, very well crafted.
