Deep Cuts - Volume 1
Collection of poems I wrote in college that have never seen the light of day... until now.
I found these in a Word document titled "Elemental." As far as I remember, it was meant for a project where all the poems related in some way to the four elements. It was never finished, in fact, it was never close to being done.

It looks just like my backyard" As Voltaire says, we must all cultivate our garden, and yours is blooming nicely! Thank you for deciding to post these.
Oh Ashley, these are just stunning! I'm so glad you found and shared these with us. I can't decide which I liked best but I really loved "Nostalgia Tea" with its mention of your grandmother 🥹❤️
I'm so happy you decided to share this! My favourite was Original Sin!

This is awesome. Each poem was unique and well written. I’d love to see the project turned into a book!!
I loved every single one of these, thank you for sharing! 🖤
Ashley, I enjoyed reading Deep Cuts, Volume 1!" 👏
My g*d, those were awful. Seriously, I had to say that. Early work is always a revelation of who we were when we are discovering ourselves. And it is better to be harsh and see how far we have come. I only don't like the first one because...I prefer tea. The next two? No titles. And the last? Eve had her options. ;) Anyway, thank you for sharing...and forgive an English major's harshness. I have some old work that I need to bury now. ;)
