With all its advances, A.I. still pales in comparison to Human run costumer service.

Since its recent inception, A.I. has captured the attention of the masses. From research to conversing with fictional characters, A.I. has solidified itself in pop culture. In fact, A.I. has now become so renowned, that various businesses are utilizing it's potential as well.

However, while A.I. may seem to be the way to the future, there are still questionable attributes which must be considered.

As various careers and jobs have been affected by the rise of A.I., none have been hit harder than Customer Service. Businesses, most notably Meta have been utilizing A.I. to reduce its need for Human customer service employees. Yet, this is far from perfect.

In recent months, Meta's A.I. has proven itself highly unreliable. This is because Meta A.I.'s inability to distinguish between good and bad content has greatly affected its clients.

From claims of exploitation, terrorist association, and impersonation, many users of Instagram and Facebook have reported their accounts unjustly terminated. What is more upsetting is their appeals have been denied.

This has left people betrayed. For them, Meta and it's services were not only a means of personal communication, but also business. From baking to crafting to selling various people used Instagram and Facebook as a means of communication with clients. Yet, when Meta deleted their accounts and denied their appeals, these people have lost income.

This negligence from Meta is highly unacceptable. Especially considering Meta relied too heavily on A.I. to monitor its platform which has generated more errors than solutions. Thus, proving that nothing can ever replace Human oriented customer service.

What's worse is this is only just the beginning of A.I. and it's failure to properly assist clients of social media.

YouTube has begun to implement a new A.I. Age Verification program for its users. While this new concept may look appealing, there is the possibility it may do more harm than good.

Numerous videos have been made about this A.I. Age Verification program explaining the potential problems that may arise from its use. One potential problem that may arise is YouTube confusing users for being teenagers based on appearance or the sound of their voices. Other problems that may arise could be related to the content created by users being deemed as "youth related."

The expressions of these people should not be taken as rampant conspiracy theories. Rather, they should regarded as legitimate concerns regarding A.I. and the drawbacks of its use in social media.

Meta's A.I. programs have already proven its unreliability in distinguishing between acceptable and unacceptable content. Considering the widespread problems this has caused in regard to banning accounts, YouTube and its parent company, Google, will most likely have similar instances as well.

Sadly, nobody at Google has heeded the warnings of those speaking out against YouTube's decision to use A.I. Once again, there will be another instance of accounts being unjustly terminated as it was with Meta. Thus, causing more people to speak out against the use of A.I. in regard to customer service or business in general. Yet with A.I. being the latest trend, businesses will try to utilize it anyway they can.

In conclusion, A.I. as a tool is still in its infancy. Even with all the fancy bells and whistles it has, and all of the potential it possesses, A.I. still has many areas it needs working on for it to work better.

In the mean time, it's probably much better, if not better in general, to leave certain attributes and abilities in the hands of Humans. While people may not be as advanced as A.I. in some regards, at least Humans still can determine what is acceptable and what is not far better than any machines could, or ever will.
