The digital army is working

On February 24, our lives turned upside down. The war made its negative adjustments. But one thing is clear: our people are united as never before. Everyone is united and doing their best to achieve the desired victory as soon as possible.

At first, it was scary. Everyone was overwhelmed by unspeakable panic over their own lives and the lives of their loved ones. Someone stayed at home. Someone tried to cross the border of neighboring countries and waited his turn for more than three days.

Today we are not so much guided by the dates as we know exactly which day of the war by account. But this does not mean that we are just waiting for what will happen next and do not participate in it as much as our military.

We also work! In our way, however, we work. We are helping in this information war to show the truth to the world and to spread factual information about Ukraine as much as possible.

Without hesitation, we decided to launch contextual advertising in the United States and Europe to spread information about the war in Ukraine, identify the audience, and the best ways to target our advertising.

Our main goal was to appeal to NATO to support Ukraine, encourage people to make donations to the Ukrainian military, and insist on closing the skies over Ukraine.

We joined the Ukrainian Union of Digital Specialists, discussed tasks, and set to work.

Our specialists have started launching standard media campaigns and advertising on YouTube.

Not everything was so simple. As soon as the ad was moderated and people clicked, it was immediately blocked. However, we did not give up. We deactivated the account, applied for a refund, and started again.

Through trial and error, after six blocks, we've finally figured out how to win the loyalty of Google's moderation system and what budgets and bids are best for our ads to work effectively.

After that, we created separate ad groups:

-audiences by interests

- audiences by keywords

- readers of news sites

Today we are preparing to implement our new, creative ideas. Now our team is more united than ever. We are all united by a common goal - we believe in the victory of Ukraine. Light will soon overcome darkness, and goodwill will overcome evil. We believe that Ukraine will become a powerful European state with the correct values and priorities, and our economy will be reborn and begin to overgrow.

We will become even better, closer, change our view of the world.

Today, many people blame themselves for having a place to live, eating, and even working. Some people cannot forgive themselves for going abroad (although this is logical, especially if they have a small child). However, we must remember that not everyone can be at the front. Someone must protect the rear and be a reliable rear. Such rear we are - the digital information army of the 21st century.

Through our reposts, fundraising, and aid publications, we were able to help find a roof over our heads for those left without anything. We helped the children see their parents. We helped to buy expensive but necessary things for the army. We are here, carefully filtering all the information and provocations, that we help everyone: the armed forces, refugees, city residents, and ... ourselves.

Victory is very close. Soon we will celebrate our own Victory Day, which will be given to us at a very high price. But which we will forever remember and will appreciate even more what we have.
