Is YouTube in Easy Mode Favoring Small Channels?
This isn't an article to teach you how to create a channel and keep going viral, but a piece to show how YouTube's algorithm is favoring small channels, and I'm proof of this.

5 days ago I published an article talking about the channel I started on August 18th and how I was growing without any announcement or launch push; at the time I wrote the article I had 797 subscribers and today 5 days later I have 863 subscribers, in other words, in 5 days I've gained another 66 subscribers, and the views are practically constantly increasing. This performance got me interested in finding out what the secret was to my growth, and in just two months I was close to hitting my first 1,000 subscribers, which is very difficult for someone who is just starting out on YouTube or any other content creation platform.
I scoured YouTube to find out why and came across lots of recent videos with familiar titles describing the following: why should you start a YouTube channel? Why should you start a YouTube channel before it's too late? Find out why YouTube is highlighting small channels, and among all the videos I've watched, the advice given in the videos are exactly the steps I'm following to grow my channel.
YouTube is highlighting small channels that are obeying the community rule from the start and dealing with the habit of the algorithm, which is to create videos in a sequential way that respects the analysis that the algorithm makes before the video is distributed to the public.
What Are These Algorithmic Rules?
I'm going to tell you what I'm doing to make it work. It's not about making videos with movie scripts and edits, it's about following a rule that benefits your work.
The first thing I did was stick to my niche, which is Finance. As I've been a retail investor for 6 years, I've gained a lot of experience and property in the subject of finance, so I took advantage of this niche to offer my audience. With this mastery of the niche, I don't need to keep analyzing what to record in the next video, because every moment I have market news that pushes me to tackle a new topic, and since I don't like making scripts, I record the videos based on the studies I do on each piece of news or strategy developed, and the key process is to never publish videos every day, I always record the videos, upload them and they stay there for 4 to 6 days without being published.
According to the world's biggest YouTuber, when you leave a video unlisted for days, the algorithm will analyze the content covered in the video, and filter out the target audience to which this video will be recommended. That's why if the video has no copyright or inappropriate expressions, there's a greater chance of it being recommended in the community based on the niche in question.
It was then that I discovered that YouTube is highlighting small channels because they are just starting out, and unlike large channels that aim for great achievements, particularly in terms of monetization, which obliges them to publish more than one video a day, the difficulty of the algorithm filtering and delivering this content even to all of the channel's subscribers is greater.
I only publish 2 videos a week and in the last 28 days I've gotten 5K views and more than 37K impressions, that's an absurd growth of more than 155% for a channel with even 1K subscribers and two months of life.

This is the Right Time to Start a YouTube Channel?
I'm not saying it's the right time to start a YouTube channel, I'm saying that any time is the right time to start a Side Hustle, as long as you're knowledgeable and knowledgeable about the subject you want to tackle in this personal project.
If you start in the right way, you can be sure that the time is right to start a YouTube channel.
