There Is A Way!

I'm not the best at remembering passwords.

It's why I don't log out of Facebook on my phone.

My main profile and author profile are verified on Facebook, and I hate having to go through the trouble of re-verifying my passport every time I forget my password.

I get a headache because I have to do this every time I change my picture, and it's such a kerfuffle!

It causes problems when I forget my Facebook password to log into my page using my laptop, especially if I lose my passport and can't remember it.

I enjoy uploading stories and sharing them with others when I'm on Facebook.

However, I share from my mobile; to begin with, I had problems with this because the Vocal app on my mobile wouldn't let me do it.

If you are experiencing the same problem, here is what I do.

  • Log in to Vocal using your web browser on your phone.
  • Find the story you want to share, and click on it. You should get a list of options.
  • Click on the 'copy' option. Log in to your Facebook profile, then use the 'paste' option to paste it into your status box.

This might seem like a trivial article, but I have written it to save newcomers or other users who might get stuck using the app on their phone to upload their stories and share them elsewhere.

I find it straightforward on the laptop, but I don't upload from there often. I forget my passwords for sites I want to upload to easily when using my laptop.

I read and write using my laptop, but I upload my stories straight from my mobile; otherwise, it feels like the apocalypse has started!

If I have helped at least one person by giving out this advice today, I may have saved the world from those very creepy night zombies who love eating our brains when they are still fresh!

You can use the same method on other apps you may use, whether on your phone, computer, or laptop.

You will find yourself working in peace if you do.

I have some advice for Vocal.

It may be a good idea to update the app on the phone, including a personal share link on the mobile app, so that authors can also share their stories from their phone.

I find the share pop-up only works on my laptop, and doesn't appear on my phone, which makes sharing complicated.

Also,

The App seems outdated. When I log in, it displays more of the older top stories than new ones, and I can only view my stats and pay if I log on using my web browser.

I enjoy using my mobile to read stories, but often everything, including my stats, appears differently there.

It would also be a good idea to adjust the app so that writing using it becomes easier. I find it very awkward to write using the app because it doesn't work well with my mobile phone. This will make it easier for times when writers have a lightbulb idea for a quick story when they are out and about, because not all of us enjoy carrying notebooks and pens around with us every time we go out.

I'm not being petty.

I have used Vocal for many years, and I love writing here, but times change, and so does the way we use technology.

I may think of more suggestions that Vocal could use to improve its platform in future, so please keep an eye out for my stories.

If I can help make the platform better, then that makes my subscription fee worth it.
