Tried everything but still not getting results with SEO?

Google SEO can be pretty tricky if you do not do it the right way!

It is common for most website owners to start with posting content regularly and building backlinks for the website. This chain stops after a while when websites are unable to get rankings and traffic.

Why does this happen?

Google SEO is a process and requires you to follow all the necessary steps to rank your posts. You won’t get the rankings if all the steps are not followed properly.

The major components of Google SEO include:

  • On-Page SEO
  • Off-Page SEO

The first step in the process is On-Page SEO, and this is what I am going to talk about in this post.

On-Page SEO is the most crucial and easiest one among all other steps of SEO.

You have to make sure to optimize every of your Blog posts with On-Page SEO tweaks to make sure your posts ranks for the targeted keyword.

Without proper On-Page SEO, the post won't rank, and all other efforts would go in vain.

To make sure you don't make such a mistake, here is the only Guide you would need for your website.

Without any further ado, let's dig deep into what all you need to do:

Basic SEO

Before you produce content, make sure you have a target keyword in place. Make a list of all the keywords you are going to target for the Article, along with LSI keywords and related keywords.

Your list of keywords should not be too long, and try targeting not more than 5 keywords in one article. Although, this does not apply to LSI keywords. You should use LSI keywords as the subheadings in your Article.

Here are the things to do after you have a target keyword along with the content:

  1. Include the keyword in the Meta Title of the post
  2. Include the keyword in the URL (make it as short as possible)
  3. Include the Keyword in the Meta Description
  4. Include the keyword in the first paragraph of the post
  5. Make sure to maintain a healthy density of the keyword in the article (I recommend 1%)

Another thing to keep in mind is that your content should at least be 600 words long as anything below that may be considered thin content by Google.

The more, the merrier is the way to go while selecting the number of words for your post!

What else can you do to increase Keyword visibility?

There are some other things that you can do to increase the visibility of your keywords and increase the chances of rankings:

  • Include the keyword in H2, H3, and other tags, which might also help you get site links on Google
  • Include the keyword in alt tags of the images that you include in your post, including the main image

The Power of Links

Links hold a lot of power in SEO, as you must have understood after reading about the importance of backlinks.

Just like it is essential to get backlinks from other websites, it is also important to give backlinks to high authority sources.

Here is what needs to be followed:

  • Make sure to include internal links to other posts or pages on your website
  • Ensure that you include external links to high-quality websites related to the topic of your post (Avoid adding all no-follow tags)

The role of Copywriting in SEO
